| For players age
8. This is the first year that children pitch to one another
under modified pitching rules (5 balls for a walk, 6 balls when
bases are loaded). After 5 walks in an inning, the coach has
the option of changing pitchers or asking the opponents team coach
to pitch to their players. Pitchers are limited to 3 innings
per game and six per week. No base stealing and no bunting is
permitted. Ten players alternate in the field of play.
Everyone bats in the line-up. Players bat until three outs are
made. Pitchers rest rules are applied here to ensure the
health of the child. Scores of each game and standings are kept.
At the end of the regular season, playoffs and a championship is
held. |

| Minors: | |
| For players
age 9. This age group is introduced to modified stealing rules
(certain bases under certain conditions). Bunting is allowed.
Standard ball and strike counts apply (3 strikes, 4 balls).
Nine players alternate in the field of play at standard baseball
positions. Everyone bats in the line-up. Pitchers can
pitch six innings in a game but no more than six per week.
Pitchers rest rules are applied here to ensure the health of the
child. Scores of each game and standings are kept. At the
end of the regular season, playoffs and a championship is held. |

players age 10 and 11. Standard base stealing rules apply (no
restrictions). Bunting is allowed. Nine players
alternate in the field of play at standard baseball positions.
