Welcome to the official web site of the Commack North Little League.  We are a little league organization officially sanctioned by Little League of America based in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.  Our league is located in a section of Commack, Long Island (which includes famed school district 10) that is defined by the area north of Jericho Turnpike.  Commack is located in Suffolk County, New York.  We play in Little League District 34, and area that stretches from the north to the south shores of Long Island.  District 34 is contained in Little League Section 4 which includes the counties of Suffolk and Nassau

If you are new to the area, welcome to what many of our residents consider the center of the universe.  Our town contains the best schools, the best people and a multitude of organizational sports that your children need.

The Commack North Little League is one of the best baseball programs in Long Island.  We provide little league play for boys and girls ages 6 through 12.  We also have a senior program for children and young adults from ages 12 to 16.  We play both little league baseball and softball with bases spaced 60 feet apart.  The pitchers mound is located 46 feet from home plate.  Over the age of 12, boys play on major league regulation fields with bases spaced at 90 feet and the pitcher mound 60 feet, 6 inches away from home plate.

Our coaches are trained annually by professional coaches and they must complete a seminar in first-aid before they can lead a team.  Most teams have a Manager and a Coach, although additional assistants may be assigned if needed.  Every team also has a Team Parent whose responsibility is to support league activities for the team in addition to a few organizational duties.

Safety is paramount to us.  Every equipment bag includes a first-aid kit along with chemical ice-packs.  We also closely monitor the number of innings your children pitch to insure a healthy athletic experience.

Commack North Little League has permits for many baseball and softball fields in the Commack North area.  You can see a complete list of these, including maps and directions, in this web site.  Many of the fields are brand new and many others have recently received an overhaul.  We think you will agree that the facilities are top rate!  Our Cedar Road Complex has a refreshment stand with prices that are reasonable.  Alcohol is not permitted on any of the facilities that our children play on.
